About Abby

Abby Merkel joined Shifrin Law Group in March of 2025 as a Law Clerk. Abby is currently a JD candidate at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Before that, she attended University of California, Santa Barbara where she received her bachelor degrees in Political Science and Philosophy in 2023. While in undergrad, Abby spent three years working as a legal assistant at a probate and estate planning firm in Santa Barbara, California.
