About Adam

A native of central Kentucky with an entrepreneurial spirit, Adam Stotts began his solo practice in 2010 with a singular focus on all matters of family law. He has since litigated over 1750 cases, including divorce, custody & timeshare, adoption, child support, grandparents’ rights, domestic violence, property division, child dependency, child neglect & abuse, and more. Most family law matters are extremely personal and emotionally charged, and the parties involved can easily become overwhelmed with the process and feel frustrated or helpless. Adam, therefore, prioritizes the importance of empowering clients from the beginning with a clear understanding of their case, applicable laws, and a straightforward assessment of the possible and/or likely outcomes of the various legal issues involved - including the good, the bad, and the ugly. Client empowerment also requires timely responsiveness to all client communications and questions, a cornerstone of Adam’s practice. Another core principle of Adam’s practice is efficiency. Too often parties’ cases linger for far longer than necessary. Whether it is a lack of initiative or diligence by their attorneys, Adam finds needless delay unacceptable. To Adam, efficiency requires reaching the best possible result for the client with as little expenditure of both time and money needed to reach that result.
