About Addison
I was born and raised in northeastern Wisconsin. I have always had a keen interest in subjects like history and law for as long as I can remember. After high school, I initially decided to go into graphic design as I have always been passionate about the arts, from drawing to theater. However, I realized that graphic design was not the right fit for me. I decided to pursue political science and publica administration instead after getting my certificate in graphic design. This led to me pursuing law as a career as I come from an extended family of attorneys and I have personally always liked studying it. Witnessing my brother go to law school further inspired me to take the chance to apply to the UW Law School in 2022. I was accepted into UW Law School that same year for the class of 2025. My main focus of law is criminal defense, although I am passionate about work in other fields of law, such as family law and juvenile defense. I believe that attorneys should be the best advocates they can be for both their clients and the surrounding community. This has been shown in my past pro bono work for the Unemployment Compensation Appeals and Legal Assistance to Incarcerated Persons clinic at UW-Law School. Outside of work, I like to draw, read, go for walks, watch movies, and be involved in local community programs.
