Attorney Alex Campos is a trial lawyer who represents victims and their families in nursing home negligence matters. Mr. Campos focuses his practice on Illinois nursing home neglect cases. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Campos spent several years at a prestigious Chicago defense law firm representing nursing facilities, medical providers, and hospitals. In defending medical malpractice cases, Mr. Campos gained valuable insight into how medical providers defend, adjust, and resolve liability claims. In 2018, Mr. Campos decided to switch sides and represent victims and their families. Since that time, Mr. Campos only represents plaintiffs (the injured party) in litigation. Alex brings more than a decade of medical facility injury experience to the firm. Attorney Alex Campos has tried numerous cases to verdict. Mr. Campos has also argued legal issues before the Illinois Appellate Court. Since 2016, Mr. Campos has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, a distinction limited to only the top 2.5% of lawyers under the age of 40 in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. Alex Campos is a native of Illinois and was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Boston College. After college, Alex returned to Chicago for law school, graduating from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. As a law student, he served as editor-in-chief of one of the school’s law journals and was a member of the Dean’s List. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Campos serves as an adjunct professor of law at The UIC John Marshall Law School and as a court appointed guardian ad litem with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Mr. Campos prides himself on zealously representing families impacted by nursing home negligence throughout Illinois.
