About Alexa

Alexa Ruiz is a 2019 graduate of PSJA Thomas Jefferson T-STEM ECHS. As a high school student, she attended South Texas College and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice; Magna Cum Laude, in December 2018. Upon graduation, she attended The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and graduated in December 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal studies; Summa Cum Laude. In addition, she received her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley; Summa Cum Laude in May 2022. Alexa, along with four other PSJA graduates, is working at Zambrano Law Firm to gain experience and knowledge for law school. She is a full-time employee serving as a Case Analyst at the Zambrano Law Firm. She gives each client outstanding customer service and provides them with any update on their case, assists the attorney with any type of legal research, produces documents in a variety of legal areas, thoroughly explains the process necessary for obtaining legal representation to all new clients, and works with insurance adjusters to negotiate client files and settle the case for a fair amount. She is actively involved with her church and likes to help as much as possible. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and loves to travel.
