Alyssa Wood is a dedicated personal injury and medical malpractice attorney with a strong commitment to her clients and their cases. She graduated from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2017, where she honed her skills in trial advocacy and legal writing. During law school, Alyssa competed on the Trial Advocacy Team and participated in Moot Court, earning recognition for her exceptional oral advocacy and brief writing abilities. Her passion for argumentation and persuasion has deep roots, as she competed at both the national and international levels in high school and intercollegiate speech and debate. Alyssa’s drive to advocate for justice is evident in her successful legal career, including a recent seven-figure settlement in a complex medical malpractice case. Her tenacity and dedication to her clients are evident in every case she handles, as she puts her heart and soul into her work. Outside of the courtroom, Alyssa enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, a neurocritical care nurse, and their son, Elliot. Their family is completed by a spirited Samoyed named Winston. When she’s not advocating for her clients or spending time with her family, Alyssa is a true foodie-whether she’s cooking, baking, or exploring new restaurants. Traveling is another of her great passions, as she enjoys experiencing new places and cultures.
