About Andrea
Andrea Staehelin is an associate in the Providence office, where her practice focuses on creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, real estate, and general civil litigation. She brings strong research and writing skills to her work and is known for her collaborative approach and attention to detail. Prior to joining the firm, Andrea served as a law clerk with the Rhode Island Trial Court Clerk Department. During law school, she completed an externship with Justice Melissa Long of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and interned with Chief Judge John J. McConnell, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island following her 1L year. She was also selected as a Rhode Island Bar Association Jackson Fellow during her 2L summer. Andrea graduated cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she was a Leadership Scholarship recipient. She served as President of the Women’s Law Society and was a member of the Law Review. During her second year on Law Review, she held a position on the executive board as the Justice for All Development Editor, organizing that year’s Law Review Symposium and supporting the journal’s early development. She has been actively involved in the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association since her 1L year and is excited to continue that involvement as a newly elected board member. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys hiking, cooking, and skiing in the winter.
