About Andrew

Andrew 'Andy' T. Shilling, a seasoned attorney, graduated with honors from the College of William and Mary in 1988 and earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond Law School in 1991. He began his career defending large businesses before focusing on individuals and families, eventually founding his own firm, Shilling & Barlow. He passed the North Carolina bar in 2007 and now practices in both Virginia and North Carolina, specializing in family law, mediation, and estates. He is a certified mediator and has appeared in various state and federal courts, including the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
