About Anne

Anne joined the Schmidt & Salita Law Team in 2023, with over two decades of personal injury, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation experience zealously representing injured people and their families. Prior to joining our team, Anne represented victims of mesothelioma and lung cancer in asbestos exposure litigation with a national boutique law firm. Anne brings a unique perspective to her litigation practice having previously served as a workers’ compensation administrative law judge. She is committed to giving back to her community and has dedicated much of her free time to pro bono representation in immigration matters. Anne has been designated a North Star Lawyer by the Minnesota State Bar for her contribution of pro bono hours and has served on non-profit boards in her community. Anne worked full-time throughout law school at a prominent personal injury law firm assisting victims of catastrophic injuries, medical negligence, and toxic exposures. She was active in mock trial competitions and served as a law review staff editor. Anne has completed her certified civil mediation skills training. Anne practiced in Rochester, Minnesota for over a dozen years when she had an employee workers’ compensation and personal injury practice. During this time, Anne co-counseled with Dean Salita to bring justice to an Iowa family who lost their father in a rental house fire where no functioning fire alarms were present. After years-long litigation and trial, a jury returned a verdict in favor of the victim’s children and mother. A Chicago native, Anne will always be a die-hard Cubs fan. She enjoys traveling, yoga and is a pickleball addict. In her remaining free time, Anne also volunteers with Wheatens In Need (WIN) in rehoming and rescue operations.
