
About Austin
Austin graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law, with Magna Cum Laude distinction, in May 2022 and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Jocelyn Newman for the circuit court of South Carolina. Austin graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology in 2017, is a licensed real estate agent, and was nominated to be a Member of the Order of the Coif, an honor society for United States Law School Students. Austin is licensed to practice in all South Carolina courts, as well as in the federal court system in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He intends to practice in the areas of Environmental litigation, class action law, personal injury litigation, construction litigation, and other complex litigation areas. Austin serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Kershaw County, is a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, is the son of Vincent and Amy Sheheen, the grandson of Rose Sheheen and the late Fred Sheheen, and has deep roots in Kershaw County.
