Determined to further her legal education, Bailey returned to the United States and earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. During her time at law school, she was actively involved in various professional organizations such as the Public Interest Law Society, Women Law Students Association, and the Veterans Advocacy Club. In recognition of her excellence, Bailey has been honored as a Lawyer of Distinction for 2025. Throughout her legal education, Bailey gained practical experience as a law clerk for a personal injury firm specializing in complex litigation and maritime law. She also competed in legal competitions such as the Transactional Practice and Contract Negotiation Internal Competition.
