Bakari Sellers, born in 1984 in Denmark, South Carolina, graduated from Morehouse College in 2005 and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008. He made history in 2006 as the youngest South Carolina state legislature member and youngest African American elected official in the nation. He was the Democratic Nominee for Lt. Governor in 2014.
