Bella Wilson

About Bella

Bella Wilson is an associate attorney in the firm’s family law practice. She initially joined the firm as a law clerk and gained valuable experience while still in law school. She quickly made herself an integral part of the Bagwell Holt Smith family and continues to grow her career in the very same department. Bella grew up in southwest Michigan and moved to Asheville, North Carolina with her family in her teens. After finishing high school in Asheville, she returned to her home state to attend Michigan State University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Political Science with a minor in African American and African Studies. After graduation, she returned once more to North Carolina to attend North Carolina Central University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate with honors before being admitted to the North Carolina State Bar. During her tenure as a NCCU student, she had numerous educational and experiential opportunities including practicing as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic, focusing on landlord/tenant disputes. In her free time, Bella enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, reading for fun, baking and traveling.
