About Ben

Ben has always had a passion for standing up for those less fortunate or struggling in some way. He comes from a big family and has five siblings, one of which was born with a physical impairment. His family was also regularly engaged in the community, interacting with people from all walks of life.. “I always had a soft spot for the person who was disadvantaged, struggling or being overlooked. The person who needs help but doesn’t have the ability or resources to help themselves. I want to help them and give them a voice,” Ben says. It is this mentality that drives him to fight for his clients and make sure their story is not only told, but heard. “Many times, our clients are going through the worst time of their lives-they’ve either been seriously injured, or their loved one has died due to no fault of their own, and their lives are turned upside down,” Ben says. “They are in a vulnerable state, and those who caused their harm are not listening to them, not showing them that respect, and not treating them fairly. They don’t know what to do. That’s where we come in.” Ben believes that many times incidents causing serious injury or death are preventable. If due care is exercised, or proper systems and policies are in place and followed, many of the situations he sees never would have happened. Ben also believes the legal process not only helps those who have been harmed, but it can also effect real change and prevent future incidents. “I’ve seen firsthand, as a result of many of our cases, changes made to policies, processes, products or other changes to prevent a similar incident from happening again. It is rewarding to not only provide a client with all the support and help that they need and deserve, but also to, hopefully, save the next person from suffering the same fate.” Ben enjoys traveling with his loving wife, Rachael, who is a commercial pilot, and spending time with their daughter.
