About Breck
Breck Barton, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised in Rexburg, Idaho, is a founder of Barton Atkinson & Murdoch, P.C. He served as an LDS missionary in Chile, learning Spanish. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah with a bachelor's in economics and with honors from J. Reuben Clark Law School of Brigham Young University. He began practicing law in Rexburg in 1976 and founded his own firm in 1984. Breck is an active member and former president (2003-2004) of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, receiving the James J. May Award in 2008 as Trial Lawyer of the Year. He is licensed in Idaho and the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. He handles a wide range of cases including medical negligence, personal injury, and business litigation, and is fluent in Spanish.
