About Brian
Brian T. Cartwright is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, being certified from 2009 to the present. Brian was named a “Texas Super Lawyer” as published by Thomson Reuters for Texas Monthly Magazine from 2016 to the present for General Litigation, and has been rated from 2009 to the present a Preeminent, AV Peer Review Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating for ethics and legal ability. Brian is a past President of the Denton County Bar Association, leaving office in 2006; and is a current member of the Denton County Bar Association. Brian and Scott formed Alagood & Cartwright, P.C. over 20 years ago, which was voted Best of Denton, 2012, Best Law Firm, by the readers of the Denton Record Chronicle, finishing in the top-2 Law Firms. Brian previously served on the City of Highland Village, Texas Charter Review Committee, and the Finance Committee at Highland Village First Baptist Church. Brian was the Vice President of the Lewisville Noon Rotary Club in 2016; and is the Chairman of the Denton County Civil Service Commission.
