About Brian

A South Louisiana native, Attorney Brian F. Trainor was born in New Orleans and raised in Slidell. He brings a fierce sense of pride and strong set of values instilled in him by the region’s communities. Graduating from Pope John Paul II High School in 1992, Brian went on to serve in the Louisiana Army National Guard until his Honorable Discharge in 1999. During his tenure with the National Guard, Brian obtained his undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and his law degree from Southern University Law Center where he graduated with honors. Upon graduating from law school, Brian served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 22nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office in St. Tammany Parish. As a prosecutor, Brian quickly earned a reputation among peers and judges for his commitment to ethically and aggressively trying the most difficult cases. Upon entering private practice, Brian became a managing member of the law firm of Montalbano & Trainor, LLC, focusing on helping victims who had sustained injuries in motor vehicle accidents. He also served as Legal Advisor to the fifth largest Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. He eventually went on to become the founder of the Trainor Law Firm, LLC, where he continued to tirelessly represent injury victims. Today, we are proud to call Brian a member of the team at Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers.
