About Carlton
Carlton grew up in a working-class household, his father works general construction, and his mother works at the local community bank. Carlton, developed his strong work ethic during his summers as a youth by working alongside his father, pouring concrete and building homes. After high school, Carlton earned a basketball scholarship to Southern Illinois University where he was a four-year stand out and a 1,000-point scorer. Post college, Carlton played profession basketball for Club Trouville, the top league in the Liga Uruguaya de Basquetbol. Carlton started his legal career as a Cook County prosecutor where he tried over a 100-bench trial and 3 jury trials.
