About Carol
Carol T. Richards is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the Louisiana State Board of Legal Specialization. She earned her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Tulane University School of Law in 1982 and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar the same year. She also holds an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. from Louisiana State University. She has maintained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale.com for over 10 years and was appointed to the Louisiana Supreme Court Task Force on Women in the Courts in 1989. Carol is a past chair of the Family Law Section of the Louisiana Association of Justice and a past-president of the Association for Women Attorneys in New Orleans.
