About Cathy
Cathy joined the firm in 2017 and concentrates her practice on personal injury, nursing home neglect, and appeals. She was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2005. She is also admitted to the Florida State Bar (1996) and the New York State Bar (1997) and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina. Cathy was born in Syracuse, New York and graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government/International Relations. After earning her law degree from the Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad School of Law in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Cathy clerked for the Honorable Harry Lee Anstead on the Supreme Court of Florida. Upon leaving the Court, she entered private practice focusing on commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and appeals. In 2018, Cathy was part of a team of lawyers who received the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from Public Justice. She is also a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and serves on the legal affairs subcommittee.
