About Chad
Chad Giles is an Arkansas City, Kansas, native and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Cowley County Community College (1999), a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice (Magna Cum Laude) from Washburn University (2005), and a Juris Doctor (Dean’s Honors) from Washburn University School of Law (2008), where he also earned a Certificate of Advocacy (with distinction). He has five years of experience in law enforcement and served as a Deputy County Attorney for three years. He is a current member and past President of the Cowley County Bar Association and has served on the Board of Governors with the Kansas Bar Association. Chad has also served as a City Commissioner and Mayor in Arkansas City. He has been a practicing attorney in Kansas and the District of Kansas since 2008, handling criminal defense, DUI/traffic, juvenile offender, Child in Need of Care, and collections cases.
