Charlie graduated from UCLA Law School in June of 1975 after serving in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After passing the California Bar Exam in the Fall of 1975, he decided to move to Nevada to practice law. He was initially employed with Nevada Indian Legal Services at Stewart, Nevada from the Fall of 1975 while waiting to take the Nevada Bar Exam. After successfully passing the Nevada Bar Exam in 1976, Charlie started a general private practice in Carson City, which became the successful firm of Kilpatrick Johnston and Adler. In 2015, the firm became Kilpatrick Bullentini Law, practicing exclusively in the area of personal injury law. Charlie retired at the end of 2024 after 48 successful years of law practice.
