About Chelsea
Chelsea Jones is a third-year law student at Suffolk University Law School, where she serves as a student leader. She is currently Vice-President of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and is an Administrative Fellow with the Center for Community Engagement. As VP of BLSA, Chelsea collaborates with a dedicated board to provide meaningful programs, foster community connections, and engage the general body. In her fellowship role, she focuses on building partnerships with local organizations that offer undergrad, and law students enhanced access to volunteer and pro-bono opportunities. At Suffolk, Chelsea competed in the Tom C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Competition and, currently, is a SJC Rule 3:03 Student Attorney in the Health Law Clinic. She will focus her practice on a wide array of civil litigation matters, including complex litigation, general liability, insurance law, and professional liability. In the community, she is an active student member of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association (MBLA) and serves as a student liaison on the Vinfen Human Rights Committee. Chelsea brings her skills as a published author and former educator to the legal field to cultivate her interests in becoming a civil litigator. Her practical experience includes working as a Legal Intern with the City of Boston’s Office of Housing Stability and as a Law Clerk with Sloane and Walsh. She began her journey with Sloane and Walsh during her 2L summer and continues to work as a Law Clerk into her third year. She looks forward to joining Sloane and Walsh as an Associate following the bar exam.
