Chet Smith is a seasoned Social Security Disability attorney with over a decade of experience in disability adjudication and representation. He brings unique insight to Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, through his prior service in six different Office of Hearing Operations (OHO) locations as a Social Security Administration (SSA) insider. This extensive government background allows him to navigate the complexities of disability law with precision and confidence. Chet holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, as well as dual undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice from Marshall University and Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. His multidisciplinary education strengthens his analytical skills and enhances his ability to interpret medical records and technical documentation-an essential component of disability law.
