About Chijioke

Mr. Metu is a senior partner with the firm and previously ran Metu & Company. He has over two decades of experience working with in house legal departments and as an outside counsel. His practice concentrates on Civil litigation, Commercial transactions, Trademarks and related matters. A law graduate of the University of Ife in Nigeria, he obtained a master’s in Corporate and Commercial law from the University College London, England and a Start Up Executive Education from Columbia Business School in New York. Mr. Metu interned with the Allan & Ogunkeye firm in Lagos and London Commercial law firm, Bates, Wells and Braithwaite. He also served as an International Assistant with the Intellectual Property Law firm f/k/a Townsend & Townsend and Crew and defense contractor GenCorp/Aerojet, in California. He is admitted to the Supreme Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
