About Christi
Christi has worked at the firm since 2006 and has experience handling a variety of matters including intellectual property, tax controversies, business transactions, trust and estate disputes and civil litigation. Christi advises individuals and businesses on all aspects of intellectual property including brand creation, trademark and copyright registration and policing of their trademark and copyright portfolios in the U.S. and more than 30 different countries. She has prosecuted matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and litigated matters before the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board. Christi also assists individuals and businesses with their tax controversies, including audit defense and compliance with foreign financial reporting obligations. She also litigates trust and estate disputes including claims for breach of fiduciary duty, financial elder abuse, undue influence and incapacity. Christi takes the time to get to know her clients and their industry so she can tailor her approach to fit their specific needs. This insight allows her to identify other areas where she can provide guidance and minimize the risk of future disputes and expensive litigation. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Christi worked for the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division and several other law firms which exposed her to a variety of areas of law including estate planning and probate, construction defect litigation, medical malpractice and civil litigation.
