Christie Harrah-Kohls has been an attorney at Stanley M. Sala & Associates, P.C. since January 2020. Born and raised in Adrian, Michigan, Christie graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 2013 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2016. Christie is a member of the bar in California and Michigan, as well as in the United States District Court - Central District of California and the United States District Court - Western District of Michigan. Prior to joining the firm, she was a prosecutor in both Orange County, California and Lenawee County, Michigan. As a former prosecutor, she possesses rare, inside knowledge of prosecution strategies, enabling her to develop effective defense strategies. She is known for her zealous advocacy, keen legal research, and writing skills, having successfully written appeals that won in the California and Michigan Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Christie specializes in criminal defense, expungements, driver’s license restoration proceedings, divorce, personal injury, probate and estate administration, complex civil litigation, and appeals.
