Christopher Bortz founded Bortz Law Firm, LLC in February 2021. In 2024, Jason P. Kleindorfer was made a partner and the firm name was changed to Bortz Kleindorfer, LLC. Chris was an equity partner at his former firm for over fifteen years. Chris is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri and is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Illinois and Eastern District of Missouri. He has extensive experience handling civil litigation cases, including defending physicians and medical groups in professional malpractice litigation, and insurance companies and insureds in general insurance defense and personal injury litigation. He also represents insurance companies in first-party litigation, coverage matters and Examinations Under Oath.
