About Chuck
Charles (Chuck) Watwood Jr. founded Lawbike Motorcycle Injury Lawyers in 1996 after graduating from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Before pursuing law, Chuck gained firsthand experience in the insurance industry, witnessing how companies exploited motorcycle accident victims. A passionate motorcycle rider since childhood, Chuck comprehends the challenges riders face post-accident. He has successfully navigated motorcycle accident victims’ cases through both the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court, contributing to the shaping of Georgia’s current bad-faith insurance laws. Chuck’s relentless pursuit of justice is evident in the millions of dollars he has recovered for thousands of motorcycle accident victims throughout Georgia. Chuck is a staunch advocate for Georgia motorcycle accident victims throughout the entire litigation process. Beyond ensuring full compensation for motorcycle and personal property damage, he fights to reduce medical bills. Outside of Lawbike, Chuck is an active member of several associations, including the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Atlanta Bar Association, North Fulton Bar Association, ABATE, Harley Owner’s Group, GABMA, RAT, and WDSRC. Throughout his career, Chuck has achieved two record-setting motorcycle trips with the Iron Butt Association: Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to Key West, Florida, and Jekyll Island, Georgia, to San Francisco, California. He actively participates in rides throughout Georgia, attending numerous events where he often presents on motorcycle law and distributes his motorcycle law book.
