About Cooper

Cooper Lach has recently joined the Swenson Lervick Law office as an associate attorney. Cooper relocated to Alexandria from Washington, bringing his diverse legal experience across intellectual property, real estate, and contract enforcement to the local community. He is committed to building relationships within the area and contributing to the region’s legal landscape. Cooper balances his private legal practice with his role as a prosecutor for the City of Alexandria. Cooper graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He earned his juris doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington where he was a proud member of the esteemed Saul Lefkowitz National Trademark Moot Court team and a student attorney in the Gonzaga Intellectual Property Law Clinic. Cooper approaches his legal practice with respect, accountability, and determination, believing that transparency is fundamental to building trust with clients, colleagues, and the community. Outside of his legal work, Cooper enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Alexandria and the culinary arts.
