Coretta Anthony-Smith is a distinguished attorney and native Floridian. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Georgetown University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 1999. After initially representing insurance carriers, she shifted her focus in 2004 to champion the rights of consumers and individuals against insurance companies, leading to the inception of Anthony-Smith Law in 2007. She specializes in various insurance disputes, automobile accidents, slip and falls, and nursing home neglect. She is licensed to practice law in all counties in Florida and before the Federal Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Florida. She is actively involved in the Florida Bar’s Florida Rules of Civil Procedure Committee, the Florida Justice Association, and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, and serves as a board member for Strengthening Our Sons. She is also a contributing editor on The Florida Bar’s Florida Automobile Insurance Law, No-Fault Insurance.
