About Corey

Corey is a dedicated trial attorney serving clients in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and wrongful death. His pragmatic, results-driven approach to law uniquely equips him to fight for the "little guy" against both government prosecution and big insurance. Corey is a graduate of both East Carolina University and Campbell Law School. A native of rural Roper, North Carolina, with a population of about five hundred people, Corey's inspiration to become an attorney began on his family's small farm and was fueled by his humble beginnings. Ever since he can remember, Corey has dreamt of returning home to Eastern North Carolina to serve those who need it most. Corey has formerly represented the injured and wronged at Ricci Law Firm in Greenville North Carolina, and has prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases in Beaufort, Martin, Hyde, Tyrell, Washington, and Pitt counties. Both Corey's prior experience in the field of injury law and his time as a prosecutor have prepared him to win in the courtroom for the clients of Ley Law. In Eastern North Carolina, Corey is known as an intelligent, courteous, competitive, and dedicated trial lawyer who will do whatever it takes both inside and outside the courtroom to secure justice and the best results possible. Corey truly loves his community and the people that he serves. A die-hard ECU Pirates fan, Corey spends his free time coaching high school mock trial, cheering on the ECU Pirates, playing golf, hunting and being outdoors, reading and writing poetry, talking trial strategy, and spending time with his wife and their German Shepherd, "Cash". Corey is an active member of Greenville Masonic AF/AM Lodge #284, a member of Ironwood Golf and Country Club, The North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), Pitt County Bar Association, and a frequent contributor and speaker at Campbell Law School.
