About Craig
Attorney Craig Bramley brings years of experience trying and winning personal injury and malpractice cases to his present role as the firm’s managing director. A talented trial lawyer himself, Craig knows what each Berman & Simmons practice group needs to secure the best outcome for clients, and he makes it his mission to assure the firm provides the necessary resources and support. He also oversees business strategy, marketing, hiring, and other key aspects of the firm’s operations. Craig’s unique set of managerial and mentoring skills has guided Berman & Simmons to its present position of dominance in the plaintiff trial field in Maine. Prior to accepting the firm’s leadership role, Craig represented plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. As a trial attorney, he partnered with other Berman & Simmons attorneys to compile an impressive record of settlements and jury verdicts for his clients, often defeating large corporations and other powerful defendants. Craig utilized his expertise in medical and legal research, writing, and persuasion to develop and present winning cases, including many cases turned down by other firms. In addition, Craig has written and presented extensively on the topics of medical malpractice and trial practice, including the pre-litigation screening panel process. The quest for innovation, constant improvement, attracting the best talent and cultivating an engaging and supportive work environment defines Craig’s tenure as managing director at the firm. Whether he is researching a legal theory, staying informed about technology and industry trends, or leveraging different tools and strategies to improve work efficiency, Craig is always thinking of new ways for his team to achieve the best results for clients. Leading with integrity, empathy, and a sense of resilience has earned the trust and respect of Craig’s colleagues and has moved the firm forward through many business challenges. By recognizing the value of open communication, teamwork, and simply doing what’s right, Craig remains committed to service excellence while upholding the firm’s core objectives of successfully representing Maine clients after serious personal injury.
