David B. Griffith was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 28, 1957. He completed his preparatory education at Kilgore College (A.A., 1977) and Baylor University (B.A., 1980). He completed his legal education at Baylor University (J.D., 1980). David was admitted to the Texas bar in 1981 and was admitted to practice before U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He was Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1988. David has served as Assistant District Attorney for Smith County (1981-1982) and Rusk County (1982-83). David is a member of the Delta Theta Phi fraternity, Upshur County and Northeast Texas Bar Associations, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association. David has a wide range of Litigation and trial experience, having tried dozens of cases ranging from complex personal injury matters to serious Felony cases all over East Texas.
