About David
David is admitted to practice not just in Pennsylvania but also in Maryland and New York. He is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Notably, he has co-authored two books on legal subjects, one of which was a national treatise published by WEST. That treatise is titled “Emotional Injuries: Law and Practice,” published circa 1999. A Dauphin County judge, the Honorable John C. Dowling, cited David’s published work in his opinion, Sears v Hershey Medical Center, 10 Pa. D. & C. 4th 182 (Dauphin Co. 1991), and called David the foremost authority on emotional distress law in Pennsylvania. In 2003, David co-wrote several chapters of PA Premises Liability: Law and Forms, specifically to educate Pennsylvania Plaintiff’s attorneys on how to handle a premises liability case. David has also won the AVVO Client Choice Award. He has specialized experience in handling motorcycle accident cases, as he has been an avid motorcyclist since the mid-1980s and has ridden tens of thousands of miles. He has ridden as far as Toronto, Canada, where he and his “gang” stayed at the Skydome. He currently rides a Moto Guzzi for long distance and his Yamaha V-Max for riding around town. He is the father of four adult children. David and his wife Beth make their home in Havertown, Delaware County. In addition to motorcycling, David enjoys following the four major local sports teams and he goes to a substantial number of concerts, including Neil Young and the Rolling Stones.
