About David
David Burge grew up a military brat. He attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. After eight years in the Air Force, David hung up the uniform and went to law school. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2013. While in law school, David began working for a regional bank. After becoming an attorney he handled complex loans and joined the bank's Special Asset Team managing distressed loans. Since joining Forbes and Forbes in 2018, David focuses on consumer and commercial debt relief, individual and business bankruptcy, estate planning, and probates. His biggest joy in practicing law is helping his clients solve problems. David is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and Florida. He was also selected to be the Secretary/Treasurer of the Financial Institutions and Commercial Law Section for the Oklahoma Bar Association. When not helping his clients, David enjoys hiking with his family and relaxing in the sun.
