Attorney David Godsey is the founder of Godsey Law Firm and IJustGotHit.com. David’s prior experience in the auto insurance industry gives him an edge over many other personal injury lawyers. After working in corporate America for one of the Nation’s largest auto insurance carriers, David became displeased with how individuals were being treated by large insurance companies. Using that as motivation, he went to law school with the vision of starting a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. His experience as an insurance adjuster and his firmly held personal belief in giving back to the community has given him a unique perspective and insight into how to best fight on his clients’ behalf. Before he became an attorney, David Godsey worked for a big insurance company. As a claims manager, he taught adjusters to talk injury victims into taking less than they deserved. That experience showed him how the deck was stacked against ordinary people who needed help. He didn’t like the way the insurance company and many other corporations put money before people. He decided to become an attorney and fight for the other side. His personal experience with insurance company tactics helps him serve injury victims in search of justice.
