David K. Furness

David K. Furness joined the firm in 1981. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (B.A., 1975) and William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., 1979). His primary areas of practice involve representing clients in workers' compensation claims, personal injury claims and social security disability claims. Mr. Furness has successfully represented workers' compensation clients at the administrative hearing level, Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court and assisted numerous clients in achieving substantial settlements of their claims. He has also successfully represented social security claimants at the hearing level, before the Appeals Council, and in the United States District Court. David Furness also practices in the areas of wills and probate. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Association of Justice and past President of the Steele County Bar Association.
