One of Utah’s most successful injury and commercial litigation attorneys, Mr. Olsen’s practice concentrates on representing plaintiffs in insurance bad faith and complex tort litigation, where he has obtained numerous multi-million-dollar judgments, including those running into eight figures. He has been called upon to represent clients in a broad spectrum of cases of complex injury litigation, ranging from trucking, product liability and work place injury to pharmaceutical liability and medical malpractice. He has been the lead attorney in many high-profile appellate decisions that define, confirm and set precedents in Utah law. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has been selected by his peers as a member of The Best Lawyers in America and has been named to the Utah Business Top 100 Legal Elite. He has received an AV rating, the highest possible, from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a one-time recipient of the Utah State Bar’s Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Award, a member of Utah’s Top Attorneys, Mountain States Super Lawyers, Utah Business Legal Eagles, The American Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Trial Lawyers and is listed in The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. An alumnus of Brigham Young University’s business school, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1976.
