About David

I am originally from Illinois, north of St. Louis, Missouri. I earned a B.S. in environmental management from Western Kentucky University in 2002. After working several years in environmental consulting, I entered Nashville School of Law in 2009. I continued to work my full-time job and graduated from Nashville School of Law in December 2012. I passed the bar and began practicing in June 2013. I built a private practice, focusing on criminal defense. I began my work as an Assistant District Attorney General for the Office of the District Attorney General in the 23rd Judicial District of Tennessee in October 2015. As an Assistant DA I prosecuted anything from shoplifting to major drug trafficking organizations to capital murder. I have tried nearly 30 jury trials.
