Denis W. Barry Jr. was born in Metairie, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University and earned his law degree from Southern University Law Center, graduating magna cum laude, awarded the Phelps Dunbar academic scholarship, and inducted into the Law Review. He clerked for Judge James E. Kuhn at the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeals. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas, including all Louisiana state courts, federal district courts, and has argued before Louisiana Courts of Appeal. He was recognized by peers and selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2022-2025.
