About Derek

Derek K. Burch is a trial lawyer with a reputation that extends across the country. He began his legal career in 1988, initially handling insurance defense and commercial cases, before joining a plaintiff's firm in 1990. In 1997, he co-founded Burch & George with Kelly George, and in 2011, DeeAnn Germany became a named partner. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury claims, liability/wrongful death litigation, motor-vehicle cases, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, and product liability cases. He has achieved numerous seven-figure jury verdicts and multi-million-dollar settlements. Burch is licensed to practice in Oklahoma, the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the 5th, 9th, and 10th Circuits, and multiple federal district courts.
