Dominique Torsiello is an Attorney in Pike & Lustig, LLP’s Equine and Commercial Litigation practice. Dominique represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, intellectual property, labor and employment, fraud, and matters pertaining to the equine industry. A lifelong equestrian, Dominique combines her deep understanding of the equine industry with her broad experience in complex litigation to assist clients across industries to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. Dominique is proud to return to Pike & Lustig, LLP, where she previously served as an Associate Attorney from 2018 to 2021. During her initial tenure, she became a trusted resource for clients in the equine and business sectors, known for her tenacity, industry knowledge, and strategic thinking. Before rejoining the firm, Dominique practiced at McDermott Will & Emery in Washington, D.C., where she represented clients in complex energy transactions, including a $685-million project financing for what will become the largest photovoltaic solar facility in the United States. She advised clients on project finance, M&A, and tax equity investments across the renewable energy sector. Earlier in her career, Dominique gained experience representing individuals and corporations under investigation by the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice, working on high-profile and complex litigation matters. Dominique earned her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law in 2016. Her academic achievements include being awarded the Frederick W. and Grace P. Brecht Scholarship and earning merit-based scholarships to attend the Animal Law Conference in both 2014 and 2015. Dominique is also a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida Lead Scholars Program and was named a First Year Academic Scholar, in addition to earning Dean’s List honors for five semesters. In recognition of her professional accomplishments, Dominique was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2021-an honor limited to a select number of attorneys in each state, based on peer recognition and professional achievement. She is a member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Section, the Florida Bar Animal Law Section, and WRISE (Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy).
