About Dr.

Paul Kaufman, M.D., J.D., brings a unique perspective to the practice of law with an intensive science background. He received his Medical Doctor degree from Albany Medical College in 1976 and practiced Emergency Medicine until 1986, becoming one of the first Board Certified Emergency Physicians in upper east Tennessee. He then attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, graduating in 1989, ranked first in his class. With 30 years of practice as an attorney, he is a 'public safety advocate' who has successfully represented clients injured by various factors, including defective products and medical negligence, securing several million-dollar verdicts and settlements. He is licensed in Tennessee.
