Attorney Edward E. (Ted) Knauss, IV Achieves Re-certification in Civil Trial Law with The National Board of Trial Advocacy as Authorized By the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Edward E. Knauss, IV of the law firm, Metzger Wickersham Knauss & Erb, P.C. has successfully achieved recertification as a civil trial advocate. Attorney Knauss earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Harvard University. He is a graduate of Penn State Dickinson School of Law. Mr. Knauss is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. He is a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is also certified as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Approximately three percent of American lawyers are board-certified, and Mr. Knauss is a member of a very select group who has taken the time to prove competence in their specialty area and earn board certification. Attorney Knauss has been an attorney with the law firm for 47 years, where he also clerked during law school. He was a shareholder of the firm for many years and had served as the firm’s Managing Shareholder. Edward - who is known as Ted - graduated from Harvard University in 1971 and completed his J.D. at Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law in 1974. He joined his father, Edward E. Knauss III, at Metzger Wickersham as he began his legal career decades ago. In his retirement, Ted plans on spending time with his family and friends and pursuing other personal interests.
