About Elaine

Elaine Torres has been practicing law for eight years and has dedicated the last four years of her career to advocating for injured plaintiffs. She is proud to serve clients as part of the Walter Clark Legal Group Team, where she brings passion, persistence, and a deep commitment to justice. Prior to focusing on plaintiff’s work, Ms. Torres worked as a fierce and tireless advocate for unaccompanied minor children facing immigration removal proceedings. That experience instilled in her a strong sense of empathy and sharpened her ability to fight for the most vulnerable. A native of the Coachella Valley and fluent in Spanish, Ms. Torres is deeply connected to the community she serves. She earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Whittier Law School, where she distinguished herself as a Research Editor of the Law Review and as a competitive member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honors Board. During law school, she was awarded Whittier’s Dean Merit Scholarship, named Student of the Year for the Center for International and Comparative Law, and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in both Contracts and Immigration Law. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Irvine. Ms. Torres is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Warren Slaughter-Richard Roemer American Inn of Court and the Desert Bar Association. She also serves her broader community as a member of the Palm Desert Rotary Club. When she is not advocating for her clients, Ms. Torres enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
