About Elizabeth

Liz August leads the Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group at Whitcomb, Selinsky, P.C., where she focuses her practice on helping individuals and families plan for the future with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Her practice includes drafting wills, trusts, and other essential planning documents, as well as managing the administration of estates and trusts with precision and care. As the Practice Group Leader, Liz oversees all estate planning and administration matters at the firm, ensuring that families are supported through every step of the legal process during times of loss. Prior to joining Whitcomb, Selinsky, P.C., Liz practiced at a boutique firm in Northern Colorado, where she built a strong foundation in estate and probate law. Her legal background also includes consumer bankruptcy and taxpayer representation before the I.R.S. and many state departments of revenue. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.
