About Ellen
Ellen was born and raised in New Orleans, LA where she attended Mount Carmel Academy. From there, Ellen went on to Florida State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Criminology. While at Florida State, she was very active in the community, completing over 300 hours of community service. She was also a member of the Garnet and Gold Scholar Society, and she studied abroad in Rome, Italy. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree, Ellen attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Ellen was a member of the Journal of Public Interest Law, and she received her certificate in Environmental Law. She was additionally the Chief Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and a national team member and Secretary of the Executive Board of Loyola’s Trial Advocacy program. In 2017, Ellen joined The Law Office of Craig Leydecker representing clients who have sustained injuries primarily through 18-wheeler accidents, auto accidents, and premise liability. In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her husband and baby girl, Amelia, and taking their dogs, Wesley and Charlie, for walks.
