About Ellie
Ellie Gebarowski-Shafer is an associate at the firm. She helps Vermonters with wills, estate planning, guardianship cases, and other probate matters, as well as assisting clients in family court and juvenile matters. She also works on litigation cases involving tort claims related to personal injury, property damage, and other liability claims. Ellie completed her legal education through Vermont’s Law Office Study Program, passing the bar exam in 2024 and admitted to practice in Vermont in February of 2025. She is also a Notary Public, a member of the Vermont Bar Association, and an independent scholar in religious studies. She holds degrees from Boston University and a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford. She has experience working with special needs individuals and is certified as a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional.
