About Emily

Emily Carr is an experienced family and criminal law attorney practicing in and around Clarkesville, Gainesville, and Cleveland, Georgia. After graduating from law school in 2003, Emily was licensed by the State Bar of Texas. For two years, she served as Assistant District Attorney for the Smith County District Attorney’s Office in Tyler, Texas, where she prosecuted misdemeanor crimes such as assault, driving while intoxicated, and drug charges. In 2005, Emily went into private practice, defending clients in both felony and misdemeanor cases. In 2007 and 2008, Emily prosecuted for the City of Tyler, Texas, in Municipal Court. In 2009, Emily joined the Carr Law Group in Georgia, where she relies on her extensive courtroom experience to defend clients in a wide range of family and criminal law cases. She is a mother of three and will fight for your custody rights.
